Why upgrade

01

Coordinated installation

One provider coordinates the door hardware, glass assessment, installation and handover.

02

Privacy on demand

Smart Glass Technologies installs electrically powered switchable privacy film on compatible existing glass.

03

Modern access management

INOX Smart hardware upgrades compatible locks and entry systems with the access methods your project needs.

Real applications

The right solution for your openings.

  • Existing glass office doors
  • Office entryways & meeting spaces
  • Compatible residential glass entry doors
  • Authorized employee access
  • On-demand glass privacy
  • Coordinated door & film installation

One Project. Two Smart Upgrades.

For suitable installations, compatible existing glass and door hardware can be upgraded without a full renovation. Smart Glass Technologies handles switchable privacy film; INOX Smart supplies the access-control hardware. We coordinate the work, including the film’s electrical power and controller requirements, and check glass, door and hardware compatibility before quoting.

Discuss your existing doors

Office

Authorized entry. On-demand privacy.

A compatible existing glass office door receives privacy film and smart access hardware. Employees receive authorized access; the glass can switch between transparent and private using its powered controller.

Residential

A smarter glass entryway.

A homeowner upgrades compatible glass and locking hardware for convenient access and privacy when needed. We assess the door, film application and electrical requirements together.

Planned integration concept · Subject to technical confirmation

One Connected Experience.

Control who enters your space and when your glass becomes private. A coordinated interface is the goal—not a verified native feature of the INOX Smart app.

Unified control may require additional controllers, relays, software integration or a separate automation platform. We verify compatibility before including an integration in the scope. Until then, access and glass privacy use their respective controls.

Your questions.
Clear answers.

Does the INOX Smart app already control privacy film?

We have not verified native control of third-party privacy film through the INOX Smart app. Unified control is a planned integration concept, not an available product feature.

What could a connected control experience require?

Depending on technical compatibility, additional controllers, relays, software integration or a separate automation platform may be needed. We confirm feasibility and scope before promising an integrated interface.

Does privacy film require power?

Yes. Switchable privacy film requires electrical power and suitable control equipment. We assess safe cable routing and the glass application during the consultation.

Can this work in offices and homes?

Yes, for compatible glass and doors. An office can combine authorized employee access with switchable privacy; a home can combine modern entry hardware with on-demand glass privacy.

Will the controls be separate?

Unless a coordinated integration is technically verified and included in the scope, access and privacy controls remain separate. Both upgrades can still be delivered as one coordinated installation project.
